While reviewing Alan Bunting's Percy Faith discography, I noticed a notation that Percy's second arrangement of "Swedish Rhapsody," the uptempo stereo recording which first appeared on All-Time Greatest Hits, was reissued on a various-artists compilation CD in the United Kingdom: "Remember when..." was released in 1990 by Campbell Connelly & Company Limited (CCD502). The leaflet includes copyright notices for CBS, EMI and others. There are no recording details or liner notes.
I suspect that the inclusion of Percy's 1972 recording was a mistake; it seems very out of place in this collection. They most likely intended to use the original 1953 recording for this compilation.
If Sony Music ever releases another collection of Percy Faith tunes, they really should include not only the second arrangement of "Swedish Rhapsody" but also Show Me and a few other rarities that haven't made it to CD.
